Living well with MS Sessions

MS Society Scotland is running Living Well with MS Sessions in Hamilton on 7th and 21st September.

These two half-day sessions planned for people newly diagnosed with MS help people connect and share experiences.

Marie Curie Daffodil Appeal

This month is the Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal and ahead of the celebration in Parliament last week, I popped in to the Hamilton Marie Curie shop.

I was delighted to meet with store manager Lorna and her team and to hear how well the shop is doing.

Central Scotland MSP Margaret Mitchell was delighted to meet with some of Hamilton College’s Modern Studies Advanced Higher pupils on Friday (7 Dec).

The pupils have all chosen their topics for their dissertations.

MSP Praises Larkhall Lighthouse

On Friday 16th November, Central Scotland MSP Margaret Mitchell visited Larkhall Christians Together’s Lighthouse Centre.

The Lighthouse is situated in the old Credit Union building which lay empty before the Larkhall group gave the building a new lease of life.

Pupils and teachers from Hamilton College were welcomed to Holyrood by Central Scotland MSP Margaret Mitchell.

The pupils ranging from Third Year to Advanced Higher attended a feisty First Minister’s Questions before getting an exclusive guided tour of the Parliament building.
